The Ethical Principles of the JATD 2021 Conference

The collective experience of the JATD Conference will be an opportunity to practice what we preach and demonstrate the values we stand for.

We develop cooperative didactic engineerings, working in groups. The cooperative aspect of our research ensures various actors from a range of professional backgrounds can work together: experienced researchers, young researchers, doctoral students and teachers. Each member of the group contributes in acting together to tackle a wide variety of issues. Our exchanges are founded on an equal consideration of each actor.

During the JATD conference, therefore, we intend to demonstrate our commitment to the respect of each individual and their diverse contributions. This should be apparent in the tone of the communications as well as the content of the papers.

In particular, we wish to avoid dissociating workshops for experienced didacticians from those of teachers, non-French speakers or beginner didacticians. The Organizing Committee will be careful to balance, as far as possible, the number of experienced and young researchers in each workshop. The Conference will not include symposia or grouped workshops. We hope to ensure in this way that the intellectual exchanges will be beneficial to all, and will strengthen the cooperative links between us.
